Are you ready, ready to release internal pain to find confidence, clarity and direction for your future, to live a life of meaning, fulfillment and contribution to trust your intuition again, but something's been holding you back, you've come to the right place. Welcome. I'm a Ian Hawkins, the host and founder of The Grief Code podcast. Together, let's heal your unresolved or unknown grief by unlocking your grief code. As you tune into each episode, you will receive insight into your own grief, how to eliminate it, and what to do next. Before we start by one request, if any new insights or awareness land with you during this episode, please send me an email at info at the end Hawkins coaching.com. And let me know what you found. I know the power of this word, I love to hear the impact these conversations have. Okay, let's get into it.

You get the sense sometimes that people think you're lazy, or they just come straight out and say it. Or they kind of allude to it without pointing directly at it. Or worse, you actually have that feeling yourself like now I should be doing more should be more helpful I should be. And long list of all the things that you should do, right? And should should should. What if it's not about laziness? What if it's just as some key missing ingredients that are keeping you stuck and stopping you getting the motivation that you want to have that ability to have that drive. More than likely, you've been taught whether directly or by observation of role models in your life, certain ways to behave. You may have witnessed adults in your life behaving in a certain way. Probably in a similar pattern, right? Either feeling like they're lazy, behaving in a lazy way, being accused of being lazy, not doing enough. And it all comes back to that same thing is not feeling that you are capable of all that you want to do. It's actually a trap, that laziness trap. It's actually because you can't back yourself to do what is most important. Because when you can, when you've got that self belief. And you can take something on without worrying about whether you're perfect, or whether you're doing it 100% Raw. And those internal feelings of must be being lazy, or I'm not doing enough note away. And so too does anyone else's thoughts or ideas that that's the case. Because when we carry ourselves in a certain way confident in what we're bringing to the table, and there's no space for other people to bring their stuff, one you don't even notice. But two, they're far less likely to be actually bringing that to you. Because everything else that you're doing is full of drive discipline is dynamic. And people feel it in your energy. So don't get stuck in that laziness trap. Instead, look at how can I get from where I am? To where I want to go in the fastest possible way? That's going to have the most positive impact for me, and for the people around me. Great question to ask.

And then, it's about having the strategies and the processes that work for you, that help you to go after what it is that you've decided you want. Everyone's going to be unique. But there are some things that from my experience is true for everyone. And one of those is knowing why that journey is even important, why that end goal is important. And knowing that so intimately that if someone asked you you could spit it back out to them without even thinking. Another one is to have the ability to be able to overcome things like procrastination, avoidance distraction. And, and how we do that is by reprogramming your mind. And often through the lens of language. As I've said on this podcast before, the language or your language is the software of your brain. So by reprogram your language, you can reprogram your brain, the brain is plastic, and it's can can continue to be molded and build new pathways to create new ways of operating. You don't have to be stuck where you're at, you don't have to keep playing out the same patterns. By bringing a circuit breaker, you can change patterns, you can be able to go and push forward to everything you want. And it's not as difficult as you would think. And the first step towards doing that is to be able to identify what's going on what's keeping you stuck. And then putting it out there that you want to find a solution to this because there is a solution to whatever is keeping you stuck. There always is. You think about what we are you able to access in terms of data, knowledge, wisdom, by a few clicks of a button. There's so many answers out there, there's answers out there to every one of your problems. It's whether you are willing to look and whether you're willing to accept it when it comes. Now this particular process of getting this clarity is something that I help people with with my start the change program, it's about getting clear on what it is you want. What needs to change, because how else are we going to get a different result unless we change. And then just really basic steps that you can choose yourself on how to move that forward. You can find that my website in the work with me section, start the change if you're ready for that change. If you are ready to start, jump in there, I run it pretty regularly, every month or so. Jump in and get yourself heading in the right direction. So you can back yourself so you can move past this laziness trap so that people can see just how capable and amazing you truly are.
