I know the power of this word, I love to hear the impact these conversations have. Okay, let's get into it.

They reckon you need 10,000 hours to become an expert. And maybe true maybe it maybe not. I remember listening to a Malcolm Gladwell podcast when he was saying that the 10,000 hours was actually a bit of a myth. He's he does a lot of myth debunking. And what is without add question, though, is that people who are good at anything have put in the hours. What I want to share with you is that the very thing that you are most gifted at, you've done way more than 10,000 hours. In fact, it'd be closer to say, depending on how old you are 100,000 hours. And that may you may think of that and go oh, that doesn't that doesn't make sense. But when when you have been challenged by different things in your life, and you are always looking to improve, and you're observing the world through that lens of of that challenge that you've had, that every waking hour, pretty much you dedicate towards getting better in that area towards trying to grow towards being better. So the very thing that you're most challenged by, you're actually a 100,000 hour expert. Just let that sink in for a minute. Because if you think about that, from your lash context, when you bring more of that, when you're dealing with other people. How much fulfillment will you get from that? How much will you wisdom? Will you be able to pass on to people? How much will you be able to make a difference in this world, make a difference to people's lives, to find more meaning? To feel more of that essence of there is more in your life. So one of the best exercises I learned was doing a timeline of your life. Learning what experiences you had the experiences that have shaped you, the good ones, the different ones, the not so good ones, where were you who you're with? We outside we inside we're doing a certain activity by what was it involved and start to piece it together? And what were the common elements. And one of the common elements for me was was always observing people's behavior, fascination with human behavior, to down to the depths of when I watch sport, and I still do this today, I watch through the lens of how are the team connecting as a team? How will they combine? What's the Unity WHAT'S THE HARMONY like? Because that was something that I craved in my life. And I observed the world like that. I wanted a deeper connection with people very connection driven. It's one of my key drivers in conversation. So I know I've been doing what I do from the youngest age and I can remember as a really shy kid, first year of school, sitting there in the quadrangle, observing because I was too shy to to go and get involved and just watching other people interactive. And even at that age, I could see what people needed, who needed to be given space who needed to be given encouragement. And that need to fill my own needs in that space led me to continue to learn ways of being better in that area. That can't You can't help but find ways to improve yourself because we They were made for growth, were designed for growth because when you can make that commitment to yourself, that you're going to pay that forward to other people are going to share this lifelong wisdom. Everything changes. Now, sometimes it can feel like that particular thing that we do well is actually a curse, that our gift is actually a curse. Because there are times when we doubt it. And there are times where it shows up at inopportune times, and times where maybe it hasn't been beneficial. And you look at other people with different skills and you go, I wish I was more like that. Well, that's only because you've not, you didn't have a full awareness around what it is that you do. If you're the sort of person that is really awesome at selling other people's gifts and selling other people's value and other people's products and services. But you really struggle selling yourself. When you know you'll know what I'm talking about. You might be one of those people that maybe in the past you've if you've been in a job, you've been reluctant to go and plead your case for a pay rise or let people know your value. Because you don't really know the value yourself. You kind of do but you're not really owning it. To do this, exercise the timeline, find your 100,000 hours, bring more of it to your world. And watch everything your life get better. Everything. Can't help it not.
