Right before you're about to level up, right before you're about to grow. There's usually like a calm, a a slowdown. What Jim Rohn calls the plateau. And he talks about enjoying the plateau. Because as you continue to grow and move forward in your life, there's not a constant, upward trajectory. It's more of a peaks and troughs. And you get to choose whether those peaks and troughs go across in a way that there's some ups and downs. But really, it's just a flat line, or whether there's an upward trajectory for your peaks and troughs. And when there's an upward trajectory, when you're growing when you're continuing to repair and release. The line is moving upwards. And actually it's more like an exponential curve. At each point along the curve, there's different peaks and troughs in the to the point where the the trough is not even really a trough. It's more like a flatline. It's more like a plateau, before you go on that next upward trajectory. The key is to realize that you're in the calm, and that the storm, not a negative storm, a powerful storm of creation of expansion of growth is coming on the other side of it. So being able to hold your nerve through the plateau, when it feels like things are dipping, when it feels like things are maybe an old pattern of oh, here we go. Again, I'm going backwards, you're not going backwards. It's a plateau before you level up. Now the old pattern would be Oh, no, what's happening? Why is this stopped? Why is this not working anymore? Creating this whole story in your head or multiple stories like we will do as humans as great creative creatures that we are great storytellers. The key is for you to actually stay out of that story. And instead, focus on a story of expansion. Focus on how you want things to be at the other side of the plateau, continuing to stay in a place of appreciation, celebrating everything that's got you to this new place. That keeps you in the energy to allow for the growth to allow for the expansion for allow for the level up, allow for that storm of where you get a choice either a storm of creation of expansion, or a storm of going back into an old pattern, which ends up looping on itself and you come back to the same place again. So it's about catching yourself. When everything whenever anything slows down. Whenever anything feels like it's going a little bit backwards whenever it feels like something's not working like it used to remind yourself, I'm leveling up. An awesome opportunity is just around the corner for me. Something's about to land with me that's going to have me growing and it's going to allow me to grow fast. The more you can do this, the more you can allow space for this, the more that you can stay in this place of positivity of strength of power, and have the courage to hold your nerve through this flatline. The more you're able to do that, the faster you're able to level up and the further you're able to go and acquire idea that you're able to progress.
So keep reminding yourself, catch yourself every time you fall into the old pattern because I still do that too. I still get to catch myself and go, now, you're leveling up, relax, this is happening for a reason. Don't create a story that's not there. Don't create problems, don't create dramas that are there. And you'll be soon out the other side of that. And you'll be going in a new direction, or in the same direction, but you'll just be moving upwards to the next level of that to the next version to the next stage of your growth of your expansion of your healing of your grief. So if you're at that plateau plateau, well done, congratulations, you've just reached the next level. And get excited because there's more to come. If you feel like you're in a bit of a dip, remind yourself that this too shall pass. You'll be coming out the other side, and you'll be moving up again. And next time you'll choose to not allow yourself to drift back and drift back into that old pattern. But you will instead hold your nerve. Have the courage have the strength, have the power to move forward to the next big thing in your life. Enjoy the ride.
