I know the power of this work, I love to hear the impact these conversations have. Okay, let's get into it,
I want to talk about something that's come up very strongly in her call for the security program I just got off, then. That's one new program. And it was all about finding certainty. And there's a few different people, they're going through some transitional periods going through some different changes, and feeling stuck feeling lost. And one of the key messages for everyone on the call was the same now depended on what they were actually working on was of the like for the actual content. But in terms of the structure, we looked at this, when you're going through a particular point in time where you feel a bit lost, feeling stuck. Not really sure what to do next, one of the best things that we can do is to create certainty from what we do know. And specifically, if you look at where you're at currently, it's what is the worst case scenario for what I'm trying to work on at the moment? And what is the best case scenario? So one of the easiest ways to demonstrate this is when we look at money, because often when we are faced with uncertainty around money, particularly. I imagine it's true for for North America as well. But in Australia at the moment, there's some uncertainty cost of living going up interest rates rising all the different things. How can we create certainty? So anyone who's been through tough times in in business or work or financially knows that you need to investigate? What What is the worst case scenario? So it's one of the most difficult things you do, because you have to be able to be humbled enough to look at, okay, this is where we'll have to go. So for us, we had to have this conversation a few years ago. And it's like, well, what's the worst case is that we have to sell everything up. And we have to move in with our parents, which is, let me tell you far from ideal, but it's the reality, it's an option, and they would have us and so we know, we have that solution, we have the worst case scenario. And even worst case, in that if our parents wouldn't take us in, there are options and knowing what they are, is super important. And so when you can do that, and you can know where the worst case is, but then also map out what the best case is, and all of the awesome things that can unfold for you, then, you know, with with certainty that, here's where we're at. knowing also that when you do this activity, that neither of those best case and worst case scenarios are gonna happen. Because it's just not how life works. But knowing that no matter what, you'll still be safe, we'd be protected you'll be provided for. There's just so much comfort in that. So wherever you're looking at, at the moment, your future direction anyway, you're stuck. map that out. And it's important that you document it, write it down, record a video, record a voice memo voice to text, whatever it is, you have to get that certainty. Otherwise it just becomes this spilling mess of thoughts running around in your head all over the place is like trying to carry a big bucket of water with one hand and everything's just splashing all over the place and you end up with not much in there at all. That's what usually happens when you've got so much in your brain is that you end up in a space where you just you've got like this this like everything splashes out and you've got no clarity or and you'd like numb and you can't even think of anything and your brain can't even process. We've just allowed all this other stuff to splash everything out. Out of control sort of fairly, to create the certainty put it in detail, put it in Writing,
and then go from there. Okay, well, if this is where I'm at his worst case, his best case, what do we need to do to work towards the best case, and one of the things we talked about is within that certainty, is also being completely open to any sort of possibilities that might come. If you create certainty, then decide, it has to be this way, this is the only path forward, then basically, what you're saying is, I'm discounting all these other stuff, and it has to be this way. And when this way that you decide doesn't work, because it's not really the right way for you, then you end up going what's going on? Like, Why won't this work? The what you are working towards best case is nothing more than a arbitrary flag in the sand in the future, which you're working towards. So you've got some sort of context for where you're heading. But just know that that path is never a straight line exactly how you think it never is looked back at your past, it never is, you'll be jumping all over the place from left to right or to wherever else you need to go. And then you'll just keep coming back to all I'm working towards here. And then as you grow and things change, and you go on the journey, realize that that flag actually needs to be moved. I did have it here. But it needs to be changed subtly to here. Or actually I'm hitting the completely wrong direction. The flag needs to be over here. And you change the direction you go. Okay, cool. We start working towards that. To create the certainty have the knowing best case, worst case, where are we now write it down? And the important bit is your take action on that. Have it down. So there's that clarity so that your brain can have that clarity, journal, ask questions, I'm not sure what to do here, right questions, what do I need to do and that part of your brain that find the answers will start find the answers. Be open and flexible to what possibilities might come what opportunities may come and then keep moving forward. That's the power of certainty the power of knowing. As always ask any questions, any feedback I'd love to hear.
